A LITTLE FAVOR?

I am having Christmas gift angst. Not really, but I would like your input. I am trying to finish up my gift list. I want to have a gift on hand for neighbors, friends that drop by, Matt's co-workers etc. It must meet several criteria.
-Must be easily mass produced
-Must be inexpensive
-Must be enjoyed by different people (age groups, gender, etc)
-Must be enjoyable to make and package

So, keeping that in mind, would you please answer the little poll I have created (to the left of this post)? I would really appreciate your input. I know that I would really love homemade laundry detergent, but I understand that not everyone would find that exciting. That's why I want your opinion. What's in it for you? Well, if you live nearby (or visit me around the holidays), you will probably be one of the recipients of said gift!

If you have another idea for a gift that meets the above criteria, please leave me a comment. I welcome suggestions! Thanks!

I think the pecans that Melissa mentioned is a good idea, but if you have to buy the pecans that might get costly. I love receiving the little jelly jars or you could do it in a mug with pretty little baggies of the homemade hot chocolate. A friend at work was talking about a recipe that had dream whip, french vanilla and hot cocoa. sounds yummy

  4. you could do a little tin of gingerbread men. I really liked your perpetual vanilla thing you did. You could make up a Herbal tea instead and give it out. Or you could do homemade cider. that would be really cool.
    we always do Baklava.

oh! I know. we could make homemade Toffee.

  5. ok it was between the vanilla and the gingerbread. I'm not good on cheap creative ideas. I'm going to have to steal yours. :)

I would really like the detergent. It's something everyone can use and everyone needs. Plus, I can not figure out the best recipe for it. But, all of the ideas are good.
P.S. I grew up trick or treating in your neighborhood as a child. When I think of Halloween, I think of Mrs. Ann, Niver Road, and the whole, cute little neighborhood.
