HAPPY PLACESThis is one of my favorite spots in the world...my bed. The perfect place to read, think, pray, snuggle up with the hubby or babies, sleep, and dream. If my house were burning, I think my feather pillow and duvet might make the list of things I would grab.
I am not a fastidious bed-maker. I like a bed that is beckoning. So I generally stick with white bedding, out of 100% cotton in different textures. In my mind, it is beautiful, even when unmade, because is just looks so inviting.

  1. Ok, your bed is inviting me. I don't think I've ever said that an uneatable object is "yummy", but YUM! Your bed sure does look comfy cozy. We had a down comforter once and loved it, but somehow got away from it. (Good thing too as we now have so many -unseen- coffee stains on our burgundy comforter! LOL!)

Maybe one day I'll go back to white. It sure is inviting, oh, and yummy! :)

Have a great day! Hug the kids for me! :)

White bedding is my favorite. And, I love down. Oh, it feels so good and it is so fluffy. Piles and piles of white fluff that whisper my name (and sometimes scream it).

Hmmm, my two cats (one black and one silver tabby) would render the white somewhat stripe-y, so I guess I'll stick with the intricate brown-on-white and red-on-white patterned sheet sets I'm already using. Maybe if we're ever cat-free....

Hi, I just linked over from Anna Count's site. I saw your blog about homeschooling and must comment. I actually think I'm going to collect my thoughts and come back, but for starters, my name's erika. My husband and I have 5 kids (oldest just turned 11), and I homeschool (just my Kindergartener, this year). This is the first year that we've done traditional school EVER (5th and 3rd grades). So you'll be either relieved or horrified to know that I can TOTALLY relate to what you wrote and feeling indecisive. Some days I want to bring them all back home, and some days I want to put all of them in (except for the little guys --about to turn 2 and 4).

O.K. so that was pretty long, but I may still come back and bore you with some advantages/ disadvantages. :)
